meghna whether you realize this or not you have tapped into one of my extremely specific luke-based obsessions.

this particular area where chest meets shoulder meets armpit. meg and i have trademarked it "the spot." it calls to me. so smooth and alluring. a lovely place to rest your head.

and it's interesting because most people don't have it. it's this extra bit that connects Luke's chest to his arm because his shoulders are so fucking wide. like look at this comparison of cake in the same shirt. you can see this spot on luke but it simply does not exist on calum.

What's killing me is how Esteban has stayed so dead silent about the issues he and Pierre had in the past and was clearly the one working harder to 'move on and forget' than Pierre was, but even he couldn't fool himself in the end.

He ended up being the one to yank Pierre close and pull him in for the hug. He opened his arms up to Pierre two more times after that. And during that interview where they call Pierre over to him, he opens his arm again and warmly invites Pierre into his hold. When they clasped hands on the podium, he took Pierre's hand into BOTH of his and held it tight.

He was always so closed and so guarded about anything regarding Pierre, but yesterday? His arms and his heart were wide open and ready to accept Pierre in any form or fashion. He initiated most of it. And that really was profound for me!!

Different anon, I don't know much about parrots would you be able to expand on why breeding them is unethical?

I'm too lazy to get really detailed right now, but I don't think we should be breeding parrots to be kept as pets. They have far too complex needs for the average person to keep happy and healthy in their home. Even the very best homes I've ever seen aren't enough, and that includes myself.

I got involved at a parrot specific rescue in 2014 and now work at a vet clinic that sees birds. It's a way bigger surprise to see a parrot that is well cared for than it is to see a parrot that is being severely neglected.

Edit to add: Since you said you don't know much about parrots! They self mutilate pretty bad when they're depressed. Anything from just pulling out feathers to ripping holes in their skin with their beak. We see this all the time at the clinic and we saw it even more often at the rescue.

Everyone thinks he'd go covered head to toe wearing those wet suits divers use, but no. Noritoshi isn't the type to want to attract attention to himself when it's not needed, so he'd try to blend in. Emphasis on try.

He's the guy wearing a covering or some shit. I think you'd have to fight him to wear a translucent one. (if you splash him with water, you'll acheive the same effect thoughahahaha) even though it's a beach, he's trying to find an appropriate way to cover up, hes just like that. yes to sunscreen ofc. The vest was the hardest part.

I had to sow in buttons where the front of the vest connects with the back, because other wise it wouldn't fit.

The skirt was the easiest. (And it's hold together with a band because, again, it wouldn't work with a gummy band.)
